The inclinometer sensor independently developed and produced by winchen sensor, also known as an angle sensor, is a device used to measure the static rotation angle, angular velocity or angular acceleration of an object. It integrates a high-precision gyroscope and accelerometer, and adopts a high-performance microprocessor and advanced dynamic solving and Kalman dynamic filtering algorithms. Its advantages: small size, light weight, low cost and low power consumption.

When selecting an inclinometer/angle sensor, the following parameters need attention:
  1. Measurement range: single-axis (0-360°°) or multi-axis.
  2. Accuracy: the maximum deviation between the measured value and the true value.
  3. Resolution: the smallest angle change the sensor can detect. For digital output, it is often expressed in bits (e.g. 12-bit resolution = 4096 positions/revolution).
  4. Response frequency/bandwidth: the maximum speed or frequency that the sensor can follow and measure accurately.
  5. Output signal: analog (voltage/current), digital (SPI, I2C, SSI, PWM, etc.), bus type (CAN, CANopen).
  6. Protection rating (IP): dust and water resistance, e.g. IP67.
  7. Operating temperature: the ambient temperature range in which the sensor can work normally.
